What is it ?

The network developed by School Success is a website where teachers, tutors, and parents can meet in order to build a better framework in the pupil’s educational journey. This tool enables better communication and better student supervision. When teacher, tutor, and parents are all well informed about each others actions, the child can quickly develop the joy of success by the constructive effort of the three parties; that’s the objective!

How does it work ?

When you register your child in the School Success Network, our team creates personalized access for you and your child. The necessary password will be given at registration. Your child’s tutor and teacher will also get access to your child’s file. Concretely, the purpose of the network is the following:

For the student

  • A school agenda where he/she can submit personal notes and work to complete, and check appointments with his/her tutor and exam dates. This agenda allows parents, tutors, and teachers to know exactly what the student needs to learn and what he has already worked on. The tutor thus follows the lessons carried out in class, knows the work to be done and assures its execution. The teacher can also add notes to the agenda. For example: he/she can suggest exercises to be re-examined, readings to be done, etc. The pedagogical follow-up becomes optimal.
  • The forum where he/she can ask questions to his/her tutor or to his/her teacher, or simply to input his/her comments. Thus, no more panic; a helper is always available.
  • A section for educational online games to test the student’s newly acquired knowledge while having fun doing so.
  • The student can also take an appointment with his/her tutor online. This facilitates the management of appointments and allows him/her to meet with his tutor when necessary.
  • The student receives an evaluation from his tutor every 2 months, specifying the acquired competences as well as the difficulties observed.

For the parent

  • Access to the child’s file provides information on the work accomplished and the work left to complete.
  • The parent can communicate with the teacher and the tutor in complete confidentiality.
  • The parent can take note of the child's semi-monthly evaluation carried out by the tutor.
  • The parent can assure a better follow-up in his/her child’s education and can actively participate.

For the tutor

  • Allows him/her to know exactly what the student has been taught in class and what he must work on.
  • Allows him/her to keep track of what has been done during the tutoring sessions and keep the teachers and parents informed.
  • Allows him/her to answer any questions his/her students might have thanks to the forum.
  • Allows him/her to communicate with the teacher, the parents, or with the student in order to place the efforts where needed.
  • Allows him/her to make online appointments with his tutees.

For the teacher

  • Allows him/her to fill out an evaluation grid in order to have a clear picture of where the student lies before getting involved; thus, better target the skills to be acquired.
  • Allows him/her to know exactly what the student has covered with his tutor.
  • Allows him/her to inform the tutor about certain points that are well understood by the student, and some that need to be worked on.
  • Allows him/her to answer the student’s questions using the forum.
  • Allows a direct communication with the tutor, the student, or the parent, in order to follow the student in his studies and answer questions that may come up.
